  • Reddit Username: We automatically retrieve your public Reddit username when you interact with the App.
  • Game Activity: We record:
    • Your current high score (points).
    • A history of which specific Question IDs you have already answered (to prevent repeats).
    • Your rank on the community leaderboard.

2. ⚙️ How We Use Your Information

We use your data strictly for the following internal purposes:

  • To Provide Services: Storing your answer history ensures you receive new, fresh questions every time you play.
  • To Gamify the Experience: Your username and score are displayed on the public Leaderboard to foster friendly competition within the community.
  • To Maintain Fairness: We may analyze score data to identify and prevent cheating or exploitation of the game mechanics.

3. 💾 Data Storage & Security

  • Where it lives: All data is stored securely on Reddit’s internal servers (specifically, the Devvit Redis database).
  • No External Servers: We do not transmit, store, or process your data on any personal servers, cloud databases (like AWS/Firebase), or third-party analytics platforms.
  • Retention: Your data is retained indefinitely to maintain your position on the leaderboard unless you request its deletion.

4. 🤝 Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your Personally Identifiable Information to outside parties. The App operates entirely within the Reddit ecosystem. Your data is only visible to:

  1. You (Your profile & history).
  2. The Community (Your name/score on the Leaderboard).
  3. Subreddit Moderators (For game management and anti-cheat enforcement).

5. 🗑️ Your Rights & Control

You have the right to control your data.

  • Access: You can view your current score directly within the App’s main menu.
  • Deletion: If you wish to have your data (score and history) permanently removed from the Leaderboard, please contact the subreddit moderators via Modmail.
  • Reset: You can reset your own “Answer History” at any time using the debug tools provided within the App menu.
